If I said to you "we have to be there for 5:30 sharp. Before I book it can you make it? 5:30 on the dot okay?"

Would you interpret this to mean?

• you have to leave work at 5:38?
• You might just wander along anyway?
• you don't really have to be there for 5:30, that was just the organiser talking out her arse?

Either way £27.50 wasted for sweet fuck all. Personally I could have done without it. The cherry comes from the " I tried to phone you" shite that I'm sick of. Really? Tried to phone me? When? Half a hour a go you say? During which time the phone made no fucking noise whatsoever?
